2000 Malibu Escape LSV,Please visit :// /albums/vv139/km118/ for a ton of photo's of the boat. This boat is currently only used in fresh water. I purchased the boat in 2005 and have only used it in the river. Last winter I did some cosmetic repairs including new seat skins,New gas shocks on all lockers,new floor,new carpet,new 2009 decals/badges.Trailer was purchased last year, it is a 2005.Mechanically the boat runs great. I have done all normal repairs and maintenance, the boat has always been worked on only by Malibu Dealers. A few of the things I have done to it over the past 4 years in addition to regular maintenance: New Vdrive,new transmission,new motor mounts,new drive shaft,new exhaust,new manifold,new upgraded prop ( for riders that like alot of weight and good wakes),new strut,new muffler,new steering cable,new perfect pass,new bilge pump,new blower,all new blower hoses and bilge hoses.When I say new, I mean I have done all of this since purchasing the boat, so over the past 4 years I have replaced these, not all at once and not just this year, slowly over the past 4. It runs great and we have been using it until August when my husband blew his back out in addition to his already blown knee. Time for a center console and fishing for us.
