Make no mistake, this 70 Ditmar Donaldson is a big strong fishing machine with double 5/4 planked mahogany hull, fiberglass house and deck. Well built, well kept wood hull can be warmer and more quiet than fiberglass or aluminium. Totally updated electronics on a fully enclosed skylounge with open flying bridge above. Engines recently rebuilt have only 100 hours with new exhausts, new insulation, 3 generators. There are 3 staterooms forward all with private heads and showers and a great workroom all the way forward that would convert to another double and 4th head with stall shower forward.Shown by Appointment. A well built, double planked mahogany hull from a quality builder is superior in many ways to other hull materials as it is warmer and more quiet. It also gives a "heavy" soft ride only found on heavy wood yachts. The house and superstructure are fiberglass.Board off the swim platform to a huge fishing cockpit. This area is very large and meant for tournament fishing - or it could be a huge dance floor. The salon is entered on center from the cockpit and has a pair of leather easy chairs to port and 6' sofa to starboard. Forward are 3 matching bar stools and the aft galley counter. The open galley spans the full beam with new Frigidaire range with Halogen glass cooktop for fast heating and easy clean-up. The sink is to port with lots of counter space. To starboard is more cabinetry and storage as well as Sub-Zero under-counter refer and separate freezer. Forward of the galley leads down 3 steps to a companion way with double guests port and starboard, each with sink, vanity and separate stall shower. Forward to port is the owner's queen guest stateroom, again with private head and vanity and separate stall shower. Forward to starboard is a 4 man dinette and day head. Further forward is the 4th shower and large workroom with beautiful teak cabinetry.There are inside stairs up from the salon starboard to the fully enclosed skylounge. The helm is on center and features new state of the art electronics including 2 Furuno NavNet systems, autopilot, GPS, and more. Aft of the skylounge is the aft deck with center controls for fishing and unique wing stations to port and starboard each with it's own fighting chair and rod holders. Above this deck and up the ladder is the flying bridge with complete helm., Mechanical Equipment: Kobelt air controls with 3 separate air compressors for total system redundancy. Twin 12V71TI Detroit Diesels rated at 750hp - both total rebuilds last year with only 100 hours each.
