FRESHWATER SEA RAY 340 EXPRESS CRUISER The 340 Express cruisers, proved to be one of Sea Ray s most popular models. She is built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a wide beam, and well-flared entry. Her forward cabin was open to the main salon....Topside; the 340's single level cockpit includes double-wide helm and companion seats and a removable bench seat at the transom. This well kept cruiser has an extra large forward berth, upgraded to almost king size, equaling the entire width of the bow. With a very generous 12 beam, move around the cabin with ease and comfort. Has a great head/shower area that is very large and roomy. The cockpit and deck area is an extraordinary 12 feet back to the transom. This space is GENEROUS for entertaining, fishing, and comfortable for catching up with family and friends. This boat is a real PLEASURE and EASY to drive, will make even a modest captain look GOOD! The Sea Ray 340 Express cruiser is a very seaworthy boat; handling 7 ft. chop and swells with no problem at all. With twin Mercruiser 454 s extra power is there when you need it. Even in reverse, she handles easily into your slip. The 34 Express has straight inboards with prop pockets and no V-drive set-up making her plain off quite easily. The engines are further forward than the Sundancer model giving this style a better ride and more fuel efficient. I favor the straight shafts over V-drives with the engines moved forward in the boat make the displacement centrally located in the middle of the boat. Large hatches in the cockpit floor provide good access to the engines. Owners Comment: This boat has had the best of care and maintenance a boat could have. She is a Fresh Water Boat that is stored inside during the winter and prior to launch in the spring the boat is cleaned and waxed from top to bottom.
