1989 Fountain 35' LIGHTNING, THE 35' FOUNTAIN LIGHTNING EXECUTIONER.When Reggie Fountain, a multiple world-championship winner on the toughest racing venues on the planet, launched Fountain Powerboats, he made an emphatic statement: this boat will eliminate the competition. He called it the Executioner.This boat is fun, fast, and requires very little maintenance. It has been a labor of love and I hate to see her go. She is in immaculate condition, never in salt water, and always stored indoors. Cockpit interior completely redone a year ago, as well as the instrument panel with Livorsi "Redline" gauges, a Dino steering wheel with drive & tab trim in the wheel. Jensen Marine CD player, and MB Quart speakers complete the experience. ENGINES: Twin 468" Chevy Big Blocks built by Gianino Lukovich Racing, Merlin heads, Lighting headers, Weiand Team-G intake manifolds, Holly HP 950CFM carbs, Mallory MSD distributors with dial rev-limiters, Comp Cams stainless roller rockers, hydraulic roller lifters, swaged push rods, JE pistons, Speed Pro rings, Revolution Marine 42oz. drive oil reservoirs, drive showers, all out to Bravo one-out drives and Hydromotive blueprinted props. You have to have a nice trailer for her, when she's not wet, so I went all-out on an Integrity trailer. It was completely disassembled, sand blasted, acid etched, primed and repainted. I added new lights, wiring, diamond plate, pressure treated redwood bunks, new carpet, new winch, and all new hardware. It is finished with new gold & red Fountain logos, and sits a top 6 new BF Goodrich commercial T/A radials which were mounted with new wheel hardware. The cost of a new boat equipped like this is in excess of $300,000.00. Because of the condition of this boat it is an exceptional value. The 35' lightening has an excellent safety record and is very easy and safe boat to drive a very high speed. Own a true piece of racing history at a fraction of the cost of a new one.
