You can step aboard and head out without a worry. Bring offers. Like the little engine that could, this Velocity runs with the Big Boys. She does not sport a big block, but the combination of weight, HP and hull design lets her run at 60 all day long. And does it on 87 Octane gasoline. Unlike some of her porpoising comrades, this lightweight Velocity skips along the top of the chop and makes good time doing it. This boat has had the best of care from her one owner. Only synthetic oils, changed every 50 hours, have been used. Overkill Maybe, but that is why she runs like new and trouble free. I especially liked the fact that the engine was still stock. So many times the life is sucked out of an engine for an extra MPH or two. If you want a performance boat, well put together by a knowledgeable owner, low hours, sharp looking and strong running this is it., This 320 HP Mercruiser is deceiving. Aside from aluminum exhaust manifolds and high performance plug wires, it has been left stock. This will help the longevity as the engine is not being asked to perform beyond it's design. It does not have the loud bark of some of its peers, but it has a big bite. This Velocity routinely outpaces many higher powered boats. This means you spend more time on the water and less time at the fuel dock.
