2007 Rinker Captiva 226 22 foot Bowrider. With a 5.7 liter Mercruiser MAG MPI and a Mercury Bravo 3 Outdrive. This Boat is Amazing! It has a Large rear Swim Deck with A Swim Ladder and a Stoarage Compartment with a drain. Just forward of the Swim Deck is a Storage Locker Large enough for a Wakeboard and 3 Stainless steel Cupholders. The Port Side of the Large Padded Sundeck opens up to reveal a Walkthrough. From There the entire Boat has Snap Out Carpet. Storage Everywhere. Covered Trash Compartment with Bottle opener under the Lid. All Faria Instrumentation. Front Bolster on the Helm Chair. Clarion CD Player, Sirius Ready with 4 Speakers. Walk Through to Bow has swinging doors to block the wind while Running. It also has a Bow Swim Ladder. This boat has it all. Comes on a Tandem Axle DHM Trailer with electric Brakes.Rinker's Captiva 226 replaces the departed 212 in the company's bowrider lineup. There's an efficient new running surface, and topside is a redesigned swim platform and convertible sunpad/transom walkthrough. Rinker puts more standard features into its boats than some competitors offer as options. There are 14 different engines to choose from, including six from Mercury and eight from Volvo Penta. Our boat has the MerCruiser 350 MAG MPI, which has more horsepower than any other option and is a good match for this boat. We expect at least 50 mph from a bowrider this size, and the Captiva 226 didn't disappoint, reaching 52 mph at 5,400 rpm.At 3,650 pounds the boat is relatively heavy, but that weight adds stability, and at no time did it feel sluggish. In our rough midafternoon test water we felt as confident at the wheel of the Captiva 226 as we did in boats two or three feet bigger ¿ due in large part to the cavernous cockpit depth that Rinker designs into all of its boats. All of Rinker's interiors are new for 2007. The Captiva 226's interior features open-back seats, padded armrests all around, a built-in cooler under the center stern cushion and a removable trash bin that doubles as a place to stash a bumper guard. Snap-in carpeting and a wind dam are standard. Just snap on the bow and cockpit cover for total shelter from the elements.AT A GLANCEThe deep and spacious 226 comes with an impressive array of standard equipment.Test DriveTest Engine: MerCruiser 350 MAG MPI 300 hp, Test Props: 14.5 x 21 stainless steel dual props, Test Load: People (185 lb.); Fuel (11 gal.), Top Speed: 52.1 MPH at 5,400 RPM, Time to Plane: 4.0 sec., Time to 30 MPH: 8.0 sec., Minimum Plane: 24.0 MPH at 3,100 RPMVital Stats: Length Overall: 23 Feet 6 Inches, Beam: 8 Feet 6 Inches, Dry Weight: 3,650 lb., Seating/Weight Capacity: 11/1,885 lb., Fuel Capacity: 42 gal., Maximum HP: 300, NMMA Certified: YesPower CurveRPM, MPH, Sound Level (db): Idle, 2.9mph, 66db / 1,000rpm, 4.4mph, 69db / 1,500rpm, 6.2mph, 71db / 2,000rpm, 7.8mph, 75db / 2,500rpm, 9.9mph, 80db / 3,000rpm, 25.3mph, 81db / 3,500rpm, 29.8mph, 82db / 4,000rpm, 37.5m
