Twin Vee is proud to announce the introduction of the New Bay Cat 22. TO SEE MORE THEN 30+PICTURES OF THIS BOAT GO TO. A fully Inner-lined, single engine Catamaran with heaps of storage and top notch fit & finish. ¿Feedback from dealers and consumers has informed us of the need for a single engine catamaran able to accommodate larger horsepower engines and more anglers.¿ Said Twin Vee¿s President Dave East. ¿While the twin engine 22cc is an excellent offshore boat with in-shore capabilities, The Single engine Bay Cat 22 is a superb In-shore boat with offshore capabilities.¿ Based on the wildly popular 19 Bay Cat, the new Bay Cat 22 shares design elements of its smaller sibling allowing the use of a single outboard. Many people want the superior ride quality of a catamaran without the expense and maintenance duties required from twin engine vessels. Bigger is better. The new 22 Bay Cat allows for engines up to 250 horsepower to feed the power requirements of even the most alpha of males, the live well has been increased to 38 gallons allowing more or bigger baits to be kept, and the 6 foot wide storage area under the aft deck is huge. As with all Twin Vee¿s, the electrical system features lit rocker switches with circuit breakers on the main switch panel. Tinned cooper wiring is used through out construction with heat shrunk connectors on all ends. All fasteners are 316 grade stainless steel. To keep things dry, all storage areas are channeled and gasketed. Stainless gas shocks are used to hold open everything from the anchor hatch to the console door. All storage areas drain overboard, not into the bilge. The stainless steel flush mount cockpit drains plumb overboard for a self bailing cockpit with excessive evacuation capacity. Extra anglers means extra everything and a need for places to put it. The 22 Bay Cat has room for it all in some well thought out storage areas. The large trapezoidal hatch on the bow is the anchor locker. Its large volume easily carries the anchor, chain and rhode. Three additional storage areas are found under the bow seating arrangement. The console has a front opening doorway that allows easy access to the electrical system and additional storage for bulkier items. The rear deck has three storage areas; a six foot wide storage area forward and a port and starboard storage area adjacent to the center mounted live well. The starboard aft storage also is the mounting location of the fuel/water separator and the ball valve / hi speed pickup feeding the live well. Other angling features include the vertical rod holders on the sides of the console. Four flush mount SS rod holders are mounted in the gunnels. The deluxe leaning post holds an additional four rods. A trolling motor plug is pre-wired back to the console for easy installation. Standard hydraulic steering means you can fight your fish not your helm.
