World Famous Quality By sharing many components with the Honda Accord automobile, the BF115 benefits from years of proven Honda engineering and reliability. Programmed Electronic Fuel Injection 4 Fuel Injectors and a Common High Flow Throttle body deliver the precise amount of fuel/air to each cylinder, resulting in instant throttle response with superior fuel efficiency. Torsion Dampener Sometimes called a flywheel, the torsion dampenerâ¿¿s location near the base of the powerhead, lowers the center of gravity for improved handling and hull maneuverability. Top Mounted Electronics Alternators, ignition system and other critical electrical components are mounted near the top of the powerhead, keeping them cool and dry for increased dependability. Largest Displacement Engine At 137 cubic inches, the BF115 has the largest displacement in its category. The long-stroke design increases torque to deliver outstanding performance and efficiency. High Output Charging Belt-driven to reduce heat and improve reliability, the BF115â¿¿s charging system delivers 20 Amps at idle, 30 Amps at 1000 RPM and a generous 40 Amps over 2000 RPM to ensure a constant charge and keep electronics running. Balanced Engine Twin counter-rotating balancers cancel out internal engine vibrations, providing smooth operation throughout the entire RPM range. Engine Alert System Uses visual, audio and RPM reduction circuits to alert the operator of overheating, low oil PSI and over-revving, preventing engine damage.
