18, 2009 Triton TR 20X3DC, Triton's New X3 Series, Triton boats have always been renowned for their smooth, dry ride, but the extra-wide stance of the X3 Series takes rough-water riding comfort and handling to a new plateau. Due to their wider running surface, the X3s deliver the smoothest ride of any boat in the Triton lineup. This extra width in turn equates to a faster hole shot ¿ up to 30% faster than past Triton models. Bury the throttle and the X3¿s bowrise stays minimal as the boat literally launches from a dead stop onto its running pad in mere seconds! And these remarkable bass boats exhibit the superb top-end speed and superior handling characteristics that have become Triton trademarks. Fishability of the new Triton X3 Series is unparalleled in the bass boating industry. These boats sport super-wide casting decks, and the relocation of the fuel tank helps stabilize the boat at rest minimizing tipping when two anglers are fishing out of the same side, a common complaint directed at most bass rigs. Both front and rear decks house massive dry storage compartments that can hold a veritable warehouse full of lures and equipment. The ¿floating console¿ made famous on Triton¿s X and X2 Series bass boats has been tweaked in the X3 series to provide room to flush-mount the new, larger side-scan sonar/GPS units that have taken the pro bassin¿ world by storm (flush-mounting these delicate and costly electronic devices greatly reduces the amount of shock and vibration they¿re subjected to in rough water and during trailering).
